Balagokulam & Chetna Program Details


Balagokulam and Chetna classes started in 2001. Balagokulam classes are conducted in two groups, ages 5 to 8 and 9 to 12. The Chetna classes are for children 13 and above. The classes were initially held at the India Community Center during the Geeta Mandal Sessions. We moved to our new temple in 2006 and classes are being conducted in the temple since then. Last year we changed the frequency of our classes to every Sunday from 10:30 to Noon instead of 2nd and 4th Sunday to accommodate greater number of children.

Balagokulam and Chetna programs are of 90 minutes duration that includes various activities related to physical, intellectual and spiritual needs. We have a dedicated team of teachers who are willing to work with and teach our children. Balgokulam is a HTCI sponsored FREE program. The Parents of Balagokulam students are expected to be members of HTCI. The membership forms are available in the “Donation Forms” page of our website.
